60% set as the Passing Marks in all Board Exam | Education Policy

60% set as Passing Marks in all Board Exams: The New Education Policy for Punjab 2017

Punjab Government is making some changes in the Education Policy of province following the foot steps of the KPK Government according to the situations. A new policy has been shared by the Educational Policy Makers and the administrators of Punjab government saying that the students who will score less than the 60% in board exams will be considered as FAIL. This New Policy has been sent to the Chief Minister Punjab for the approval and it is yet to be approved and there are solid chances that the summery will get approved in the coming days.

60% set as the Passing Marks in all Board Exams

New Punjab Education Policy 2017:

The policy has yet so many points for the education sector of Punjab. The Major points of the New Education Policy are as follows:

  1. 60% has been set as the Passing Criteria for all the Board Exams.

  2. Increments will be suspended for the Government Teachers giving less than 95% Results of their Students.

  3. Teachers will be responsible for the Students and Schools Progress in Government Sector.

  4. 5 Subjects will be included in the board exams of the 5th and 8th Class.

  5. There will be No Convince Allownce for the Distance less than 18 KM.

  6. There will be a deduction of 4 Days Salary (SUNDAYS) in a month for the government Teachers.

 NOTE: The Different Teachers Associations of Punjab declared this Education Policy for Punjab as a biased one and the rejected it completely.

Subjects for the 5th and 8th Class:

The Exam of only 5 subjects will be taken from the students of 5th and 8th Class in the Punjab Education Boards. Those five subjects are as follows:

  1. English

  2. URDU

  3. Mathematics

  4. Science

  5. Islamiat
