Open Letter to CM Punjab over the Issue of MBBS Seats

If we look at the previous years’ stats it is pretty much clear that last year almost Forty Seven Thousand (47k) students applied for almost Thirty Four Hundred (3405) seats.  But this year there was an increase of up to Nine Thousand students who were going to contest for the same Thirty Four Hundred seats of 17 Public Sector Medical Colleges of Punjab. Government took this factor seriously and to maintain the overall Merit and opportunity to all the students, government has decided to increase the Number of Seats in all the Public Sector Medical Colleges of Punjab, and this Expected Increase is of almost 900 seats. But The Principals of Medical Colleges has refused this Order to Increase the Number of Seats in their respective colleges.

An official from Medical Colleges said:

‘we can’t Increase the Number of Seats in our Colleges due to the lack of Resources and Budget. There aren’t sufficient Class Rooms, Lecture Halls and Laboratories in Medical Colleges, so it’s very hard for us to Increase the Number of Seats for Medical Students while maintaining the Quality Education at campuses’.

Government of Punjab Must have to look in this matter of Increase in MBBS Seats for Public Sector Medical Colleges,  This Confusion is getting worse day by day for the Students, Teachers and their Parents, So this is the Matter of Future, and Matter of life for 900 Students.

Merit cant b predicted without fsc as it counts for 40 percent which is something. It is unfortunate that the government has destroyed the future of so many hard working students. Well thats there loss. But why did they do it. Kh salman prob got money from privates to raise the merit so they can get good students and not leftovers
